I learned a great new phrase yesterday from Dipika. We were just chatting about random stuff and she asked me if I knew why certain people were so “cheesed off” with Justyna.
I had never heard that term before and immediately wrote it down. Here is the defintion according to Wiktionary :
| Adj. | 1. | cheesed off – greatly annoyed; out of patience; browned off, exasperated, displeased – not pleased; experiencing or manifesting displeasure (of Brittish origin) |
According to Dipika, saying “cheesed off” is currently all the rage in London, so of course, I’ve been using it every chance I can get. See if you can use it at least 3x today. Some other great Dipika phrases are: “getting the shivers”, “had me in splits”, & “cribbing away”. I love hearing these phrases. I feel like I’m in Bend it Like Beckham. I’ll try to update this post everytime I get a new phrase from her.
