Over at tv.ign.com they just introduced their Endangered Series List.
The Endangered Series List tries to give you a clearer picture on the outlook of certain series and it’s a place where you can get a quick look at what is definitely coming back, what definitely isn’t, and which shows’ fate are still currently undecided – and thus, for now, simply endangered.
Some of the info was kinda obvious like ER and BSG not returning. I was glad to see that Friday Night Lights will be back in the fall.
Two shows that are currently “on the bubble” that I really hope return are Life & Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Here’s what they said about both:
Life :
There are some passionate fans for this show, but not nearly enough – with NBC cutting out five hours of scripted TV next season for Jay Leno’s new talk show, Life is almost definitely gone
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles:
Despite a passionate core following, ratings continually dropped for this series. It’s considered highly unlikely FOX will renew it.
Update (5/1): Terminator’s executive producer says there’s still hope, but that he hasn’t heard anything from FOX lately, one way or the other.
It’s not looking good for either of those two favorites. I’ll be sure to check back to the list often to watch for updates.
